RBSA OH&S Policy
Occupational Health and Safety Acts have been passed in most states of Australia. The Acts concern themselves with the establishment of health and safety committees in the workplace, set up where there are a certain number of personnel, and a majority of them request it.
Occupational Health and Safety is an integral part of RBSA's vision and strategy. Every site we operate on has a specific plan tailored to the size and complexity of the company's operation on that site.
It is this company’s aim to provide a healthy and safe workplace. To achieve this, this company shall take all practicable actions to identify, evaluate and control those factors in the workplace that may cause or have the potential to cause injury or ill health.
National Standards are adopted by this company and are set in place for those areas that account for most workplace injuries. These include:
- Manual handling
- Occupational noise
- Hazardous substances and facilities
- Plant and equipment
- Certification for users and operators of equipment
- Dangerous goods
