Remedial Building Services policy is to minimize negative environmental impacts and provide a safe and healthy work place.
The company is committed to:
- Waste minimization (Including the active recycling of materials and waste as appropriate)
- The reduction or elimination of environmental impacts
- Effective resource utilization
- A safe work environment which is coupled with environmental protection
Where all foreseeable outcomes can be controlled, measures will be taken to mitigate the risk - environmental and safety. Measures will also be put in place to ensure that the impact of any unforseen events are minimal and reacted to in an appropriate manner.
These outcomes are achieved through a process of active supervision, continual staff training and involvement of staff through the OH&S committee and the management team.
Asbestos removal, waterproofing and heritage works
In 2006, Remedial Building Services completed membrane works on the Education Building in Sydney
CSIRO - Laboratory Floor Area
Remedial Building Services were contracted to supply and install a 2-3mm Self Levelling Non-Slip Epoxy Floor.
Westmead Children's Hospital - Fire Rated Walkway
Westmead Children's Hospital constructed a series of covered walkways which they realised needed to be fire rated to protect the structure
