why we only use certain surfaces

Remedial Building Services have over 30 years experience in the application of flooring surfaces including epoxies. Over this period, we have time and time again seen that vinyl and tile flooring surfaces fail in commercial and industrial use. When vinyl or tiled floors crack, water penetrates the surface where it cannot be dried. This creates a wet environment which allows bacteria to grow, making the area unhygienic, and often quite foul smelling.

By comparison, our range of Epoxy floors and MMA flooring solutions are designed and installed to be hard wearing and resistant in industrial and commercial application. Furthermore, with the advantage that the flooring surfaces can be laid to be seamless - including coving - our range of flooring products are much more versatile and easy to clean.

This makes epoxy and MMA floors a great choice for kitchen areas, food preparation areas and many other commercial requirements.

All our flooring solutions can be laid over existing concrete floors, and tiled surfaces. After careful preparation of the concrete surface, all epoxy coatings and MMA flooring surfaces can be applied to achieve a range of finishes. Furthermore, the range of colours available for epoxy floors truly puts tiled surfaces to shame.

MMA and Epoxy floors are more hygienic, resilient and can be tailored to individual requirements more readily than tiles or vinyl. Comparatively our technologies enable more cost effective solutions, both in the short, but especially the medium to long-term.
