Earlier this year, Independent certification boday Branz undertook to test the fire rating properties of Nullifire B747 when used in conjunction with Mineral Fibre board.

The results of the test were very encouraging. According to the report from Branz,

"It is considered that the Nulifire B747 penetration sealing system, with a nominal 2 mm thick mastic coating to each face and with or without pipe or cable penetrations would achieve the following fire resistance ratings if tested in accordance with AS 1530.4-2005:"

Further tests regarding different seal configurations, different surfaces (floor, ceiling) were also conducted, with results all indicating solid performance of the system.
